Tickets Sold Every Day in January: A 10-Year First for The Cobblestones

“We have sold tickets every day this month. In 10 years this has never happened and we are truly grateful!”

– Graham, The Cobblestones, 31 January

For most grassroots venues, January is one of the toughest months of the year. Post-Christmas budgets are tight, nights are dark, and momentum can stall.

Which is why this milestone matters.

A Grassroots Venue at the Heart of Live Music

Based in Bridgwater, Somerset, The Cobblestones is an independent live music venue dedicated to supporting grassroots artists and giving local bands a proper stage. Over the years it has built a reputation for championing original music, hosting touring acts, and creating a space where live performance genuinely matters.

Like many independent venues, they rely on consistent ticket sales to keep programming ambitious and sustainable.

The Turning Point

In July 2025, Graham from The Cobblestones publicly shared that he was unhappy with his existing ticketing setup and was looking for alternatives.

The issues were familiar to many venues:

Platforms that could not properly integrate with their website

High customer fees, including hidden charges at checkout

Frustrating payout delays and slow communication

After being recommended by other venues, Graham switched to Ticket24/7.

Within hours, their events were live. We migrated their listings over from their existing platform, Graham reviewed them, clicked publish, and they were up and running.

A simple website integration now automatically updates their events page whenever a new show is added, removing hours of manual admin. Built-in email announcements and trackable links help keep shows visible. On the door, the free scanning app manages entry smoothly.

Just as importantly, payouts were fast and reliable.

As Graham put it:

“I think you guys are doing a great job and you’re so much better than other larger platforms I’ve worked with. Can I just say I’m very impressed how quickly turn around is with cash.”

The Result: Momentum in the Toughest Month

Since switching, The Cobblestones have gone from strength to strength. And then came January.

For the first time in 10 years, they recorded at least one ticket sale every single day throughout the month.

That kind of consistency does more than boost revenue. It builds confidence when booking shows, reassures artists, and removes the stress of relying on last-minute rushes.

Even in traditionally quieter months, steady sales are possible when the ticketing journey is simple, visible, and friction-free.

Pro Tips to Boost Ticket Sales

With Ticket24/7, The Cobblestones have some extra tools to maintain sales momentum and optimise results:

Event Announcements – automatically email your page followers whenever a new event is added, giving ticket sales a boost with minimal effort.

Custom Short Links – track ticket sales per link to see which marketing channels are performing best.

Meta Pixel & Conversions API – measure ad-driven ticket sales and optimise campaigns.

You can read more about these features, plus other benefits, in the Seller How To’s section

Thinking About Switching?

If you are frustrated with your current ticketing provider – whether that is high fees, slow payouts, clunky website integration, or hours lost updating listings – there is an alternative.

Ticket24/7 offers:

Free seller accounts with no contracts

Simple event setup

Automatic website integration

Built-in free marketing tools

Fast, reliable payouts

Responsive UK-based support

If you’re frustrated with your current ticketing provider, you can create a free seller account in minutes.

Get started here.

Explore the dashboard, add an event, and see how venues like The Cobblestones are building consistent ticket sales – even in January.

If you’re running ads on Facebook or Instagram, setting up a Meta Pixel is essential for tracking how people interact with your events. Ticket24/7 makes this easier than ever — unlike most other platforms, we support not only Meta Pixel integration but also Facebook’s Conversions API, giving you more accurate tracking and better insights into your ad performance. This means you can see exactly which ads are driving ticket sales, build retargeting audiences, and optimise your campaigns for conversions — all from your Ticket24/7 seller page.

What You’ll Need

You can add Facebook tracking in two ways:

Meta Pixel ID (recommended for everyone)

Conversions API Token (optional but more accurate – requires a Facebook Business Account)

You only need a Pixel ID to get started. If you have a Business Account and can also generate a Conversions API Token, we recommend using both for the most reliable tracking.

Step 1: Create a Meta Pixel

If you don’t already have a Pixel set up:

Go to your Meta Events Manager.

Click “Connect Data Sources” and choose Web.

Select Meta Pixel and follow the setup prompts.

Once created, you’ll be given a Pixel ID – copy this number.

For help, see Meta’s guide to creating a Pixel.

Step 2 (Optional): Generate a Conversions API Token

The Conversions API (CAPI) is a server-side tracking method that ensures Facebook still receives events even if ad blockers or iOS restrictions stop the browser Pixel from firing.

To get a CAPI token:

Click Generate access token and copy the token.

This isn’t available for personal accounts or pages only.

Want to know exactly where your ticket sales are coming from? Whether you’re running multiple ad campaigns, working with a street team, or simply want a cleaner link for your poster artwork, our trackable short links are the perfect tool.

Each trackable link you create is unique and lets you monitor how many tickets have been sold via that specific link — including the number of orders, total tickets sold, and total value of sales.

Why use trackable links?

There are a few powerful ways to use this feature:

Marketing Campaigns: Create separate links for each platform (e.g. Instagram, email newsletter, Facebook ads) and compare results.

Sales Reps & Promoters: Assign a unique link to each rep to easily track their performance.

Posters & Flyers: Use our ultra-short URLs (like
t247.co/381
) on printed materials — they’re tidy, direct, and easy to remember.

How to create a trackable link

Creating a link takes seconds:

Go to your event via the Seller Dashboard.

Scroll down to the Trackable Links section.

Enter a Friendly Name for the link — e.g.
FacebookAds
,
Rep1
, or
PosterCampaign
.

Click the Create Trackable Link button.

Your new short link will appear in the table. You can now copy and paste it wherever needed.

Example

Here’s what the Trackable Links table looks like once you’ve added a few:

Note: If you’ve used our Automated Event Announcement feature, you’ll see a system-generated trackable link already in the table. That’s why we’ve made it simple to manage cancellations, postponements, or rescheduling—all while taking the burden of refund management off your shoulders. Unlike most other platforms that require organisers to handle refunds themselves, we manage all refund requests and attendee correspondence, saving you valuable time and effort. Here’s how it works:

1. Cancelling an event

Canceling an event is simple and efficient on Ticket24/7. Here’s how:

Access Your Event: Log in to your Seller Dashboard and navigate to the specific event.

Cancel the Event: In the ‘Status’ section, click the red ‘Cancel’ button.

Automatic Refunds: All purchased tickets will be automatically refunded. Refunds may take up to 10 working days to appear in customers’ accounts, depending on their bank or card provider.

Attendee Notification: Ticket24/7 will send an automatic email to all ticket holders with details of the cancellation and refund timelines.

This hands-free process means you can focus on other priorities without worrying about managing refunds or communicating with attendees.

2. Postponing/Rescheduling an event

Once an event has sold a ticket, the option to change the date directly on the ‘Edit Event’ page will no longer be available. This ensures that all ticket holders are properly informed of any changes to the event. Instead, organisers will need to use the dedicated postpone/reschedule process, which automatically notifies attendees and provides a seamless way to manage the transition. Follow these steps to postpone or reschedule your event:

Access Your Event: Log in to your Seller Dashboard and navigate to the specific event.

Postpone the Event: In the ‘Status’ section, click the red ‘Postpone’ button. You’ll have two options:

– Postpone Until Further Notice: Select this if the new date is undecided. An automatic email will be sent to all ticket holders, informing them of the postponement.
– Set a New Date: Choose this option if you are rescheduling and have a new date ready.

Setting a New Date: Once a new date is confirmed, return to the event in your seller dashboard, click the ‘Reschedule’ button and enter the new date. This will update the event details and notify all ticket holders with the updated information. N.B. If you have tickets that go off-sale in a staggered fashion, we recommend you check each ticket type after you have rescheduled your event.

Refund Option: In compliance with UK ticket-selling regulations, attendees will have a 14-day window to request a refund after the new date is announced. Ticket24/7 will handle all valid refund requests automatically, so you don’t have to.

3. Tips for Minimising Cancellations or Postponements

While some situations are unavoidable, here are a few ways to minimize disruptions:

Have a Backup Plan: Prepare for potential issues by securing alternative dates or venues in advance.

Monitor Ticket Sales: Use the real-time insights in your dashboard to assess sales trends and ensure the event is financially viable.

Stay Transparent: Proactively communicate with attendees and stakeholders if there’s any uncertainty about the event.

4. Additional Support

Unlike other platforms, Ticket24/7 takes care of refund management and all attendee correspondence for you. Whether it’s a canceled or postponed event, we ensure your attendees are informed and refunds are processed quickly—without you needing to manage a single request. This frees up your time and lets you focus on planning future events or resolving any other issues.

At Ticket24/7, we’re always innovating to give event organizers the tools they need to succeed. Our Announcement Feature is the latest addition to our suite of powerful promotional tools, designed to help you sell more tickets while keeping your audience engaged and excited.

How Does It Work?

Automatic Subscriber Enrollment: Every time someone buys tickets to your events, they’re automatically subscribed to receive notifications about your future events (unless they choose to opt-out). This ensures your most loyal fans are always in the loop.

Scheduled Announcements: Creating a new event? Simply set a date and time for the announcement, and we’ll notify all your subscribers with a professionally crafted email, complete with a direct link to buy tickets. It’s instant, targeted, and effective.

Targeted Marketing: Got multiple Seller Pages for different event types or genres? No problem! Each page builds its own subscriber list, so announcements always reach the most relevant audience, boosting engagement and sales.

How Do I Use It?

Open your event in the seller dashboard and scroll to Event Announcement & Scheduling.

Pick a date, click Schedule, and leave the rest to us.

On the day, we’ll email all your subscribers with your event image, essential details and a one-click link to buy tickets.

Note: If your event is still draft, you can use the same tool to publish it at the same time as the announcement

Why Ticket24/7’s Announcement Feature Is Unrivaled

Unlike other platforms, we give you direct access to your audience through our Announcement Feature, fostering loyalty while driving more sales. When you pair this with your free Seller Page, you’re not just promoting events—you’re building a brand that fans will follow and support.

This unique combination ensures:

Exclusivity and urgency: Subscribers get the first word on new events, encouraging quick ticket purchases.

Effortless event promotion: No need for expensive ads or external marketing tools—everything is built into the Ticket24/7 ecosystem.

Stronger audience engagement: Stay top-of-mind with your fans and ensure they never miss an event.

Introducing the new Clone feature—an effortless way for event sellers to duplicate existing events with just one click. This game-changing tool saves you time, cuts out repetitive tasks, and lets you focus on what really matters: making your events a success!

What is the Clone Feature?

The Clone feature allows ticket sellers to quickly replicate an existing event’s key details in seconds. By simply clicking the Clone button in the seller dashboard, you can copy over the event title, description, ticket types, venue details, and more—all in one smooth step. It’s the ultimate time-saver for busy event organizers, streamlining the setup of recurring or similar events with zero hassle.

Key Benefits of the Clone Feature

Instant Duplication: Duplicate an event’s information in just one click!

Consistency Across Events: Maintain accuracy by reusing the same details without re-typing.

Quick Adjustments: Make minor updates to ticket types, dates, or pricing without starting from scratch.

Optimized for Recurring Events: Ideal for weekly, monthly, or similar events that need consistent setup.

Streamlined Dashboard Management: See and manage your cloned events right alongside your original ones in the seller dashboard.

How to Use the Clone Feature

Log into Your Ticket24/7 Seller Dashboard. Head to the dashboard, where all your events are displayed.

Locate the Event You Want to Copy. Find the event you’d like to duplicate. Hover over the event or click into it to access options.

Click the Clone Button. On the event page, simply select the Clone button. This action instantly creates a new event with the same title, description, venue, ticket types, and other settings.

Make Any Necessary Adjustments. After cloning, you can tweak the new event’s details, such as changing the date, ticket price, or adding additional information.

Publish Your Cloned Event! Once you’ve finalized any updates, publish the event just like you would with any new setup.

Have an event coming up, but struggling to fill the guest list? Here are our top tips from social media hacks, to finding the right lineup, guaranteed to boost sales and get people talking.

1. Create a webpage.

Web pages ensure that people know you are legitimate, and it gives them a port of call for all queries. you can have an faq section for common questions and answers, get people to sign up for newsletters, and more! At ticket247 we offer free web pages to those who sell tickets through us, so you can focus on creating the showstopping event. Read more here: https://ticket247.co.uk/SellWithUs

2. Be active on your social media.

Letting people know you’re there and listening is vital to brand loyalty, after all, who wants to speak to a robot every time they have an issue? Reply to comments, post regularly, and engage with your consumers in any way. Creating a memorable and accessible Twitter hashtag is one way to sort all of your mentions into one easy-to-find place so you can share posts at the click of a button!

3. Post your reviews!

Reviews say everything! Had an event in the past that had brilliant feedback? Include quotes on your front page so the first thing people see is exactly why they should go – straight from the horse’s mouth.

4. Reward loyal customers.

Those people that left reviews? reward them! Let everyone know that by going to your events, they’re in with a chance of a VIP experience next time. This can be done by collecting all reviewers and holding a lucky draw for free tickets, an upgraded ticket – or if it’s a festival, how about a glamping experience?

5. Ditch the paper.

E-tickets are the way forward. With the worry of paper tickets not arriving on time, shipping damage and even the environment, make your ticket buying accessible for everyone- after all, it is 2021 and who uses paper anymore? with Ticket247, in just a few clicks your customers will be able to purchase and receive their tickets faster than ever.

6. Merch. Merch. MERCH.

People love memorabilia, especially if it’s their favourite artist! Many venues use the adrenaline that their customers have when entering/leaving an event to their advantage. Merch on the door can be sold for much more than merch online, and you’re guaranteed to make a decent profit! Plus, merch advertises for you, so most of the hard work is done.

7. Know your audience.

There’s a reason nightclubs promote on university campuses and not at care homes. Advertise with promo leaflets, bulletin boards, or other out-of-home advertising in areas where your target audiences may be. Holding a grand opening of a new club? entice university students with leaflets that give them 1 free drink upon entry. A theatre event? Think fancy hotels in the area.

8. Discounts for early sales, ticket batches, and ‘last chance’ offers.

The early bird catches the…discount? Offer discounts for early sales, release tickets in batches and advertise each time to get people following and talking.

9. Call to action!

Had someone buy a ticket in the past and leave their email/phone number? Send a promotional offer to them they wouldn’t want to miss. Make sure your social media channels have easy links available to take your customers straight to where they need to be (preferably, your webpage!).

10. Competitions.

Want to get people talking about you or your event to build brand awareness? Use a competition to win a once-in-a-lifetime experience. By using a competition on social media channels, you can easily get people liking, sharing, and following your event in no time! (But make sure you abide by the terms and conditions of said social media channel, of course.)

Happy selling!

Unlike other ticket sales platforms, with Ticket24/7 you can start selling tickets to your events in just 5 simple steps, and completely free of charge. Find out how with this handy quick start guide!

Step 1: Create an account

When you enter the Ticket24/7 website homepage, under the search bar you will see ‘add your event’. Click here to get started. This will take you to our ‘sell with us’ page. Scroll down and click ‘get started’ Once that’s done, you’ll be directed to create an account or log in.

Fill out the necessary information for your login, or simply login with your Facebook account.

Step 2: Create your Selling Page

Your seller’s Page will act like a free mini website displaying all your completed and upcoming events. It’s a handy link to add to your social media accounts and promotional material, making it easy for your customers to find and buy tickets! Your selling Page should include who you are (a venue, events management company, or independent artist) and some general details about your venue or the type of events you organise. You can even add more Pages if needed, for example, if you are a promoter for two venues, you can add a Page for each, or if you are a venue running different types of events, you may like to advertise them separately. Don’t forget to add a photo to your Page to make it stand out!

Step 3: Find your way around the Seller Dashboard

Once logged in, you will be presented with the seller Dashboard, which contains live information about sales and orders and allows you to manage all aspects of your events and ticket sales. On the left hand side of the page, there is a drop-down menu bar with all the different components of the Dashboard; ‘Events’, ‘Pages’, ‘Orders’, ‘Scanners’, ‘Finance’, and ‘Reports’.

Step 4: Add your Event

To add the event itself, click ‘events’ in the seller dashboard menu and then ‘add event’. Here you can enter details about the event itself, including a title, location, date and description. Once ‘create event’ has been clicked, one or more ticket types can be created, coupons/discount codes can be added, and a date/time can be specified for announcing the event to your Ticket24/7 Page followers. Once you are happy with the details entered, clicking the ‘Publish’ button will make the event public and your tickets will be available for purchase on Ticket24/7!

Step 5: Link your bank account

Last but not least, you’ll need to add your account details so that we can transfer your ticket funds. On the menu bar, click ‘Finance’ and then follow the on screen prompts. We use Stripe to take card payments from ticket buyers and to manage payouts to sellers. Payouts are scheduled automatically so you don’t need to do anything. We typically pay out funds for events in the early hours of the morning after completion. If you’re a regular seller and have set up advanced payouts with us, then all available funds will be transferred every Monday morning.

There you have it – you’re now selling tickets online with Ticket24/7!

Need more detailed instructions or some help getting set up? Browse more how-to’s or get in touch via the Support section and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
