If you’re running ads on Facebook or Instagram, setting up a Meta Pixel is essential for tracking how people interact with your events. Ticket24/7 makes this easier than ever — unlike most other platforms, we support not only Meta Pixel integration but also Facebook’s Conversions API, giving you more accurate tracking and better insights into your ad performance. This means you can see exactly which ads are driving ticket sales, build retargeting audiences, and optimise your campaigns for conversions — all from your Ticket24/7 seller page.

What You’ll Need

You can add Facebook tracking in two ways:

Meta Pixel ID (recommended for everyone)

Conversions API Token (optional but more accurate – requires a Facebook Business Account)

You only need a Pixel ID to get started. If you have a Business Account and can also generate a Conversions API Token, we recommend using both for the most reliable tracking.

Step 1: Create a Meta Pixel

If you don’t already have a Pixel set up:

Go to your Meta Events Manager.

Click “Connect Data Sources” and choose Web.

Select Meta Pixel and follow the setup prompts.

Once created, you’ll be given a Pixel ID – copy this number.

For help, see Meta’s guide to creating a Pixel.

Step 2 (Optional): Generate a Conversions API Token

The Conversions API (CAPI) is a server-side tracking method that ensures Facebook still receives events even if ad blockers or iOS restrictions stop the browser Pixel from firing.

To get a CAPI token:

In Events Manager, click into your Pixel.

Navigate to Settings.

Scroll to the Conversions API section.

Click Generate access token and copy the token.

You must have a Facebook Business Account to generate a token. This isn’t available for personal accounts or pages only.

More info: Meta’s guide to Conversions API

Step 3: Add Your Pixel to Your Ticket24/7 Page

Once you’ve got your Pixel ID (and optional token):

Log in to your Ticket24/7 Seller Dashboard.

Go to the Pages section (where you manage your seller landing pages).

Click on a page and click Edit

Scroll to the Facebook Meta Pixel settings.

Click Save.

That’s it! Your Meta Pixel will now fire when people view your events and buy tickets from that specific page.

You can add different Pixels or tokens for each page if you want to track performance across multiple audiences or campaigns.

What Will Be Tracked?

Once set up, your pixel will automatically track key events like:

Page View (when someone visits your page)

ViewContent (when someone views an event)

AddToCart (when someone adds tickets to their cart)

Purchase (when someone completes a ticket order)

This data is passed back to your Ads Manager to help improve targeting, retarget visitors, and optimise for conversions.

Need Help?

Want to know exactly where your ticket sales are coming from? Whether you’re running multiple ad campaigns, working with a street team, or simply want a cleaner link for your poster artwork, our trackable short links are the perfect tool.

Each trackable link you create is unique and lets you monitor how many tickets have been sold via that specific link — including the number of orders, total tickets sold, and total value of sales.

Why use trackable links?

There are a few powerful ways to use this feature:

Marketing Campaigns: Create separate links for each platform (e.g. Instagram, email newsletter, Facebook ads) and compare results.

Sales Reps & Promoters: Assign a unique link to each rep to easily track their performance.

Posters & Flyers: Use our ultra-short URLs (like
t247.co/381
) on printed materials — they’re tidy, direct, and easy to remember.

How to create a trackable link

Creating a link takes seconds:

Go to your event via the Seller Dashboard.

Scroll down to the Trackable Links section.

Enter a Friendly Name for the link — e.g.
FacebookAds
,
Rep1
, or
PosterCampaign
.

Click the Create Trackable Link button.

Your new short link will appear in the table. You can now copy and paste it wherever needed.

Example

Here’s what the Trackable Links table looks like once you’ve added a few:

Each link shows how many orders, tickets, and the total sales value it has generated.

Note: If you’ve used our Automated Event Announcement feature, you’ll see a system-generated trackable link already in the table. This automatically tracks how many sales have come directly from our announcement emails — a great way to measure the immediate impact of promoting your event to subscribers.

Need to tidy up?

You can delete any link at any time using the Delete button — perfect for cleaning up old or unused tracking URLs.

Tips for getting the most out of tracking

Use clear, descriptive names so you can easily identify each source later.

Share different links in different places to test which channels are working best.

Combine this with our real-time sales data to stay in full control of your campaign performance.

Refunds may take up to 10 working days to appear in customers’ accounts, depending on their bank or card provider.

Attendee Notification: Ticket24/7 will send an automatic email to all ticket holders with details of the cancellation and refund timelines.

This hands-free process means you can focus on other priorities without worrying about managing refunds or communicating with attendees.

2. Postponing/Rescheduling an event

Once an event has sold a ticket, the option to change the date directly on the ‘Edit Event’ page will no longer be available. This ensures that all ticket holders are properly informed of any changes to the event. Instead, organisers will need to use the dedicated postpone/reschedule process, which automatically notifies attendees and provides a seamless way to manage the transition. Follow these steps to postpone or reschedule your event:

Access Your Event: Log in to your Seller Dashboard and navigate to the specific event.

Postpone the Event: In the ‘Status’ section, click the red ‘Postpone’ button. You’ll have two options:

– Postpone Until Further Notice: Select this if the new date is undecided. An automatic email will be sent to all ticket holders, informing them of the postponement.
– Set a New Date: Choose this option if you are rescheduling and have a new date ready.

Setting a New Date: Once a new date is confirmed, return to the event in your seller dashboard, click the ‘Reschedule’ button and enter the new date. This will update the event details and notify all ticket holders with the updated information. N.B. If you have tickets that go off-sale in a staggered fashion, we recommend you check each ticket type after you have rescheduled your event.

Refund Option: In compliance with UK ticket-selling regulations, attendees will have a 14-day window to request a refund after the new date is announced. Ticket24/7 will handle all valid refund requests automatically, so you don’t have to.

3. Tips for Minimising Cancellations or Postponements

While some situations are unavoidable, here are a few ways to minimize disruptions:

Have a Backup Plan: Prepare for potential issues by securing alternative dates or venues in advance.

Monitor Ticket Sales: Use the real-time insights in your dashboard to assess sales trends and ensure the event is financially viable.

Stay Transparent: Proactively communicate with attendees and stakeholders if there’s any uncertainty about the event.

4. Additional Support

Unlike other platforms, Ticket24/7 takes care of refund management and all attendee correspondence for you. Whether it’s a canceled or postponed event, we ensure your attendees are informed and refunds are processed quickly—without you needing to manage a single request. This frees up your time and lets you focus on planning future events or resolving any other issues.

At Ticket24/7, we’re always innovating to give event organizers the tools they need to succeed. Our Announcement Feature is the latest addition to our suite of powerful promotional tools, designed to help you sell more tickets while keeping your audience engaged and excited.

How Does It Work?

Automatic Subscriber Enrollment: Every time someone buys tickets to your events, they’re automatically subscribed to receive notifications about your future events (unless they choose to opt-out). This ensures your most loyal fans are always in the loop.

Scheduled Announcements: Creating a new event? Simply set a date and time for the announcement, and we’ll notify all your subscribers with a professionally crafted email, complete with a direct link to buy tickets. It’s instant, targeted, and effective.

Targeted Marketing: Got multiple Seller Pages for different event types or genres? No problem! Each page builds its own subscriber list, so announcements always reach the most relevant audience, boosting engagement and sales.

How Do I Use It?

Open your event in the seller dashboard and scroll to Event Announcement & Scheduling.

Pick a date, click Schedule, and leave the rest to us.

On the day, we’ll email all your subscribers with your event image, essential details and a one-click link to buy tickets.

Note: If your event is still draft, you can use the same tool to publish it at the same time as the announcement

Managing multiple events? Need a fast way to recreate similar events without re-entering details every time? Ticket24/7 has got you covered! Introducing the new Clone feature—an effortless way for event sellers to duplicate existing events with just one click. This game-changing tool saves you time, cuts out repetitive tasks, and lets you focus on what really matters: making your events a success!

What is the Clone Feature?

Consistency Across Events: Maintain accuracy by reusing the same details without re-typing.

Quick Adjustments: Make minor updates to ticket types, dates, or pricing without starting from scratch.

Optimized for Recurring Events: Ideal for weekly, monthly, or similar events that need consistent setup.

Streamlined Dashboard Management: See and manage your cloned events right alongside your original ones in the seller dashboard.

Click the Clone Button. On the event page, simply select the Clone button. This action instantly creates a new event with the same title, description, venue, ticket types, and other settings.

Make Any Necessary Adjustments. After cloning, you can tweak the new event’s details, such as changing the date, ticket price, or adding additional information.

Publish Your Cloned Event! Once you’ve finalized any updates, publish the event just like you would with any new setup.

Creating an event on Ticket24/7 is one of the easiest and most efficient processes out there. Unlike other platforms that require navigating through complicated forms and multiple steps, Ticket24/7 simplifies the process with just a few straightforward steps. Whether you’re a first-time seller or a seasoned pro, our platform is designed to make event creation fast and hassle-free. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Get Started with Just a Few Clicks

Access the Seller Dashboard: Log into your Ticket24/7 account and you will be directed to your seller dashboard where you can access up to the minute sales data.

Add a New Event: Simply click “Add New” under the “Events” tab to start. No need to navigate through a maze of options.

Enter Event Details: Add a catchy event title and upload a high-quality image (make sure you have rights to use the image). Our platform is designed to make this process as intuitive as possible, so you can focus on the details that matter.

Step 2: Specify the Venue

Find Your Venue Easily: If your venue is already listed, simply type its name in the “Venue Search” box. No need to search through long lists—Ticket24/7 shows suggestions as you type.

Add a New Venue in Seconds: Don’t see your venue? No problem! Just click “Add New Venue,” fill in the details, and save it for future use.

Step 3: Enter Event Descriptions

Add Key Event Details: In the “Description” box, include all important information about your event. While you don’t need to turn this into a short story, the more detail you provide, the fewer questions your customers will have. As a minimum, we recommend including artist or performer details and a brief outline of what attendees can expect—special performances, activities, or unique aspects that make your event stand out.

Short Description for SEO: With Ticket24/7, you can also enter a concise, SEO-friendly short description. This is crucial for deciding what appears in Google search results and when your event link is shared on social media, such as Facebook. For example, you might use something like:
“Old School Club Night at VenueX, Swansea, 4th July 2022.”
A well-crafted short description not only helps improve search visibility but also ensures potential attendees get a quick, enticing summary of the event when they see your link online.

This step ensures your attendees know exactly what to expect, and also helps your event stand out in search results and social media shares!

Step 4: Save and Publish

Save and Preview Your Event: Once you’ve added all your details, click “Create Event.” You can preview everything before going live to ensure it’s just right.

Publish with One Click: When you’re ready, hit “Publish” to make your event live. Your event is now on Ticket24/7, visible to a wide audience. You can track ticket sales, monitor attendance, and manage event details with just a few clicks.

Additional Tips

Promote Your Event: Once your event is live, you can share it across social media and use Ticket24/7’s built-in promotional tools to boost visibility and drive ticket sales.

Manage Your Event with Ease: Track sales, manage ticketing, and scan tickets at the venue with our easy-to-use mobile app.

Creating and managing events with Ticket24/7 is fast, simple, and supported by a team dedicated to helping you succeed. If you’re migrating from another platform, don’t worry! We’re here to help—just get in touch, and we can assist with copying over any existing event listings to Ticket24/7, making your transition seamless.

Now that your event is ready to go, it’s time to start selling tickets! In the next section, we’ll guide you through the process of adding tickets to your event and setting pricing options.

Get Started (Part 2): Add Tickets to Your Event
