MARK EG

A main player in the music industry for almost 25 years, Mark EG has transmitted his musical message across the globe many times over, reaching several different generations with countless different styles of electronic music. He has achieved this with a unique and anarchic approach to music that have won him many awards and accolades. His energy and passion for sound is quite simply unparalleled.

As a performing DJ his musical skill is unquestionable and his stage antics are legendary. You never quite know what he's going to play, or do. Previous shows have involved chainsaws, smashed decks, 12ft ladders, bags of flour and surprising looks from event security personnel. His fans even have their own 'Mark EG' chant - which booms out like thunder from the moment he steps up to the decks.

A devoted music producer and mastering engineer, Mark spends the week in his Leeds based studio remixing and releasing music on some of the worlds top record labels under various different pseudonyms. He owns several record labels of his own including Blackout Audio and EG-3.There have been many imitators, but there is only one Mark EG!

Mark's rise to fame began in the early 90's after his love for Chicago house, Detroit techno and acid house progressed into an unequivocal need to spread the word of Belgium techno, hard techno and also hard trance. After DJing for the UK's biggest rave parties of the time (Helter Skelter, Dreamscape etc) as well as working as PR for Re:Load, GPR and Proper Records, Mark became A+R for dance music giant Bonzai Records. He also turned his skills to journalism, editing the techno section for cult rave magazine Eternity. He soon became Assistant Editor for Wax Magazine and to this day writes record reviews for Tilllate Magazine and now owns Core Magazine (www.coremagonline.com) as well as Digital Online Music Store, Beatbucket (www.beatbucket.

MATT OD

For over two decades the Organ Donors, transcended genres and helped paved the way for the modern boundary-free era of electronic dance music. Their tracks on the infamous Nukleuz & BXR Records were some of the biggest of that era and they entered the UK Top 40 twice with their cover version of Michael Jackson's 'Wanna be Starting Something' (4 Tribes) and Blackout. Their subsequent release on Tidy Trax; Turntablism was played 7 consecutive weeks by Radio 1 resident Judge Jules and won tune of the year at the 2006 HDA. They held the Number 1 spot on the Beatport chart for almost a year with their remix of Bassturbation which also went on to win hard track of the year in the 2011 Beatport poll.

Their original productions and remixes on Spinnin, Armada, Perfecto, Reset & Flashover have gained DJ support from the world's biggest artists including; Armin Van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Kutski, Showtek, Ferry Corsten & Marco V and they have been head hunted to do remixes for Paul Oakenfold, Marcel Woods, Sean Tyas, Lange, Mark Sherry & Lisa Lashes.Their daring and humorous, viral music videos have notched up millions of YouTube views.

They’ve toured all four corners of the globe, taking their infamous harder edge sound and turntablist technical ability to; Electric Daisy Carnival (Chicago & Vegas), Defqon 1 (NL & Australia), Dance Valley, Slammin Vinyl, HTID, Q-Base, Colors & Creamfields whilst continuing to play their beloved intimate club circuits across the UK, North America, Canada, South Africa, Australia, Asia & Europe. After the highly successful crowd funded Ultrasound album in 2020, The Donors decided to go their separate ways. After some time out, Matt OD now sets off on his new solo venture. With his social media track previews already notching up over a million views, and with a new album on the horizon, Matt OD is back on top form and looking to continue where he left off!
