Artistry in Motion

We are so excited to be co- hosting this fabulous live drawing class! 

The evening will begin with a welcome drink and then a stunning performance from a professional dancer from POISE. who will then act as the model for the drawing class led by the very talented professional artist Carl Chapple. 

We know this immersive class is sure to be a must in your calendar, as a solo date or an activity with your friends!

Carl Chapple is a painter based in South Wales. His work centres around portraiture and the human figure, and is particularly inspired by dance.

Suitable for artists of all levels of experience and modelled by professional dancers, Carl’s workshop will involve working directly from life to develop observation and drawing skills, including approaches to composition, proportion, line and and tone. A variety of poses will be explored, including some familiar from classical and balletic traditions, and other more spontaneous and gestural - discovered through creative collaboration with the models.

Charcoal, paper and drawing boards will be provided.
