Celebrating the decade of decadence, Yoda's new show takes you on a journey through the 80s, from the biggest dancefloor fillers, through film, TV and back again. As with his '50 years of Hip Hop' show, DJ YODA will be mixing the visuals, as well as the tunes. YODA debuted the show at London's iconic Royal Festival Hall. DJ Yoda is a world-class turntablist, producer, and pioneer of audio-visual mixing. True to his Star Wars-inspired name, he honours hip-hop's roots by remixing snippets of pop culture into fresh, genre-blending creations. Over 20 years ago, he dropped the now-classic How To Cut & Paste: 80s Edition, in which he applied his hip-hop DJ'ing techniques to 1980s pop.
