About this event

Foundling+ Support from Kristin McCLement + LesjamusicThe Folklore Rooms | February 18th£10adv | 18+This special evening at Folklore Rooms brings together three artists working at the intersection of song, sound, and atmosphere, each offering a distinct yet complementary approach to intimacy and listening. Harpist, composer, and sound artist Erin Lang aka Foundling (Canada) presents a live set drawn from Artemisia, the forthcoming ambient harp and flute album released via Shadow World Records (UK). Foundling's performances focus on sustained tone, resonance, and spacious song forms, weaving harp, voice, and spoken word into an immersive listening experience. Her music invites stillness and attention, blurring the boundaries between concert and sound ritual, and offering a reflective counterpoint to the winter season. www.foundlingsounds.comwww.instagram.com/foundlingsounds/ Kristin McClement, a Sussex based singer-songwriter and member of the Willkommen Collective, brings her deeply affecting songs shaped by reflection, connection, and care. Accompanying herself on guitar and piano, McClement's work is marked by a resonant, emotionally rich voice and poetic clarity. Her songs draw listeners into a shared sense of presence, described by For Folks Sake as "intoxicating," and praised by Folk Radio UK for their depth and maturity. Kristin is joined by multi instrumentalist and vocalist Jools Owen who brings his own magic to the sonic landscapes they create together. https://www.kristinmcclement.comhttps://www.instagram.com/k_mcclement Opening the evening, Lesjamusic, (UK) the experimental ambient project of Nicholas Mark Lisher, explores the space between structure and spontaneity through analog synthesis and tactile electronics. Each piece unfolds live, guided by texture, tone, and chance, creating sound that feels alive, unpredictable, and intimate. His latest release, Lesjamusic Is Lost, is out now on Mystery Circles. https://lesjamusic.bandcamp.com/ https://www.youtube.com/@lesjamusichttps://www.instagram.com/lesjamusic/
