About the venue
A bar rated 4.6 from around 824 reviews, mid-priced. It is closed on Mondays, opening 5pm to 2am Tuesday and Wednesday and to 3am on Thursday. Reviewers describe a small, dark room with well-made cocktails, good-value pub food and a happy hour from 5pm to 6pm.
Getting there
The venue is on Nagymező utca, Budapest's theatre street, four minutes' walk from Opera on the M1 — the oldest metro line in continental Europe — and close to Andrássy Avenue. Note that on the M1 you cannot change platforms underground, so check the direction before descending. The area is central and walkable from the Jewish Quarter.
