About the venue
A large Irish pub rated 4.4 from more than 1,600 reviews, mid-priced. It is closed on Mondays and open 11:30am to 2am the rest of the week. Reviewers describe several floors including a back bar under a skylight, reached by stairs or a lift, and it is listed as a wedding and event venue — so it has both the space and the habit of hosting groups.
Getting there
The venue is on West Main Street in downtown Louisville, on Whiskey Row and close to the KFC Yum! Center. There is no rail transit, so arrival is by car or rideshare; the 1st and Main garage is two minutes' walk and open 24 hours, and reviewers report attendants actively managing the exit queues after arena events — useful, as the area empties all at once when the Yum! Center has a show.
