About the venue
A tavern and American restaurant rated 4.3 from around 870 reviews, mid-priced, open 11am to midnight Monday to Thursday. Reviewers describe a hunting-lodge interior with indoor and outdoor seating, a shuffleboard, and a separate saloon room at the back — the back room is worth asking about for a group. Happy hour starts at 11am and reviewers note plenty of space for larger parties.
Getting there
The venue is on East 17th Street in Costa Mesa rather than in a city called Orange County. There is no rail transit serving this stretch — the nearest Metrolink is some distance away — so attendees will drive, which is standard for Orange County. The 17th Street corridor has street parking and small lots, and the venue is a short drive from the 55 and 405 freeways.
