INSCAPE are an alternative metal band from Swansea, South Wales whose sound is heavily inspired by electronic and dance music along with modern metalcore and progressive metal, which results in a truly unique soundscape. Originally formed over 14 years ago, the band entered 2026 with a refined lineup, looking to build on the successes of their two 2025 single releases, “FIRST_CONTACT" and “a n t i b o d y”. 

The band released their new EP, “C.I.T.R.U.S.” in June 2026, and used the Bloodstock Metal 2 the Masses competition, recognized both in the UK and Europe as the “Road to Bloodstock Festival” to promote their new music, and lineup. After earning the judge's vote in each heat they competed in, INSCAPE eventually made it to the finals, and 1 day after releasing their EP, they competed against 5 other bands at the Day of Wreckoning Festival in Newport and were selected as the winners, netting them a spot at Bloodstock Festival in August 2026.

At Bloodstock Festival, the band secured a prime-time slot, playing on Saturday in the late afternoon, and after navigating some technical difficulties, they performed their set to a very enthusiastic and high-energy New Blood Stage crowd. Described by many at the festival as a “palette cleanser”, their different take on modern metal was well received, and the band plans to build on the successes at Bloodstock and maintain the momentum for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027.
