James Kennedy

James Kennedy is a Welsh musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from South Wales. He first came to wider notice as the frontman and guitarist of alternative rock outfit Kyshera, with whom he released several albums and toured extensively in the UK and beyond. After the band disbanded in 2018, he continued making music under his own name and with his band James Kennedy & The Underdogs, launching solo material and exploring a broad range of styles from rock and punk to acoustic and experimental sounds. 

Kennedy is also an author and podcaster, known for his frank discussions about life on the road, the realities of the music industry, and the creative process — themes he touches on in his books like Noise Damage and in various interviews.
