Cardiff’s genre-bending indie-pop shapeshifter has built a reputation on doing things his own way — sharp, self-aware songwriting, infectious melodies, then suddenly you’re in full synth territory with drum machines thumping and everyone pretending they don’t dance (before absolutely dancing).

Comparisons to LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip get thrown around, but he’s unmistakably Welsh — witty, slightly chaotic, emotionally honest without getting precious about it.
