Leon’s Live Night

A live music event organised by the Leon heart fund.

Some information on the charity -The Leon heart fund was created as means of supporting children and families who attend Cardiac ward. Founded in 2009. The charity was named after Leon Montanari. 

Leon Montanari was born with a condition that meant he needed a heart transplant at the very young age of 10 months old but despite having to spend a lot of time in and out of hospital during his life, he was a happy, typically mischievous boy with a generous nature.

Despite advances in the care of transplant patients, Leon passed away in 2009 aged 13 and his mum, Julie, wanted to do something that would serve as a fitting memorial to him. The leon heart fund has been growing from day one. Since then we have carried on Leon's  wishes with helping people as he was in and out of hospital all his life and wanted to keep supporting many families, but we have also created hospital rooms, donated defibrillators, support schools, clubs and many more.

May's event the charity aims to support and raise money for children and families in hospital needing support during their difficult times. In this event there will be great live music, raffle and an opportunity to have food and cold beverages while helping to make a difference and raise money.
