Saturday 25 July at Live At Melbourne Hall turns the South Derbyshire estate into a haven for indie, rock and feel-good summer anthems, welcoming The Lightning Seeds, Maxïmo Park, Riding The Low and Propaganda DJs for a day steeped in British guitar-driven melody. Lightning Seeds bring a sparkling set built on decades of unmistakable melodies - songs that feel tailor-made for open-air nights in the Derbyshire countryside. Maxïmo Park follow with their famously kinetic live show: lyrics loaded with emotional clarity and intellectual punch, delivered with muscular, urgent indie energy. Now 20 years and eight albums in, the trio return revitalised by the raw, bold spirit of their new record Stream Of Life, channelling everything from Athens, Georgia art-rock influences to their own unmistakably Northeast bite. Riding The Low add a proudly Midlands-rooted indie edge, their cinematic songwriting blending perfectly with the heritage surroundings of Melbourne Hall.
