Following two strong studio releases, and a nationwide tour with King King coupled with a main stage appearance at Ramblin’ Man Festival, AUSTIN GOLD caused a stir.

Classic Rock Magazine gave glowing reviews of ‘Before Dark Clouds‘ and their self-titled 2nd release. These, coupled with regular plays on BBC Radio 2’s Rock Show and Planet Rock Radio, catapulted the English quartet firmly into the limelight.

Their 3rd release, THOSE CITY LIGHTS, saw them switch labels to TMR Rock Records and saw them achieve their first UK Charts success. It garnered rave reviews, while single ‘Mountain’ was daytime playlisted on Planet Rock Radio.

The band, of David James Smith (vocals & guitar), Lee Churchill (bass), Adam Leon (keyboards) and James Pepper (drums), have been building a reputation as one of the best live acts around.

Their melting pot of influences come together to create something that is really very special. From heavy guitar riffs, to the most delicate heart-felt ballads; from atmospheric sonic landscapes, to hook-driven melodies; this is a band that deserves to be heard.
