FORMER ELO 2 STAR & FRONTMAN PHIL BATES ANNOUNCES FAREWELL TOUR - AUTUMN 2026 After nearly 60 years of making music, Phil Bates - former frontman of ELO 2 - will be bringing the curtain down on his outstanding career with a farewell tour in Autumn 2026. From playing to audiences around the world with ELO 2 to building a successful solo career, Phil has enjoyed many highs along the way. He has recorded and released five critically acclaimed solo albums and, for a time, was a member of the much-admired Eleanor Rigby Experience, renowned for their reworkings of Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison classics. This final tour will see Phil return to some of his favourite venues, performing in intimate settings such as small theatres, arts centres, and selected pubs with dedicated function rooms. His set will feature a rich mix of his own material, a few Beatles gems, and of course plenty of the timeless Jeff Lynne songs that helped make ELO one of the most successful bands in the world.
