About the venue: An Irish pub, brewery and sports bar rated 4.4 from more than 8,500 reviews — one of the most-reviewed venues in the whole set — and mid-priced. It is open 11am to 2am every day, so timing is completely unconstrained. Reviewers describe a large multi-room space with screens, a substantial drinks range and consistently good service, and it regularly handles large parties.
Getting there: The venue is on Strada Smârdan in Centrul Vechi, Bucharest's old town, which is pedestrianised and dense with bars and restaurants. Universitate and Piața Unirii metro stations are both a short walk away on the M2 line. Driving into the old town is impractical — use a nearby garage or a taxi, both of which are inexpensive in Bucharest.
