Cost: Free to attend. The venue asks that everyone buys a drink at full price
Dress: Smart casual (no sportswear). Over 18s only; ID may be requested

About the venue: A Moxies restaurant rated 4.7 from more than 4,200 reviews — the highest-rated and most-reviewed venue across the whole non-UK set — and mid-priced. Open until midnight midweek. It is a full-service chain restaurant rather than a bar, so the room is comfortable and the service structured, though it is less naturally suited to standing and circulating than a pub.
Getting there: The venue is on Centennial Parkway in Stoney Creek rather than central Hamilton, so plan accordingly. Confederation GO is the useful connection at about six minutes' walk, with GO bus routes 11 and 12 and Lakeshore West trains, and it has a large free car park of its own. Hamilton GO Centre downtown is over 9km away and not walkable. Most attendees will drive; the venue sits just off the QEW with its own parking.
