Practical details
When: Set Wednesday each month (except December), from 7pm

Cost: Free to attend. The venue asks that everyone buys a drink at full price
Dress: Smart casual (no sportswear). Over 18s only; ID may be requested

About the venue: The rooftop bar of Z Hostel, rated 4.4 from around 1,940 reviews and inexpensive. The building is open 24 hours. The roofdeck is the draw — reviewers describe views across Makati, a sociable international crowd and a regular programme of organised events including quizzes and DJ nights, so the space is used to hosting. Being a hostel rather than a bar, the crowd skews younger and more traveller-oriented than a business venue.
Getting there: The venue is on Don Pedro in Poblacion, Makati's bar and restaurant district. Guadalupe MRT-3 station is around nineteen minutes' walk — usable but not adjacent — and also serves the EDSA Carousel buses and jeepney routes. Given Manila traffic and the heat, most attendees will take a Grab or taxi; Poblacion itself is compact and walkable once you are there.
