About the venue: The venue is the bar and restaurant of The Social Hub, a hotel rated 4.7 from around 960 reviews with a rooftop bar and pool terrace. Being a hotel rather than a pub, it is set up for events and meetings, and the ground-floor spaces are designed as work-and-social areas — well suited to a networking format. Reviewers consistently praise the staff but note service at the rooftop bar can be slow when busy.
Getting there: The venue is on Praça de Dom João I in the middle of Porto. Trindade metro — the busiest interchange in the city, serving more lines than any other station — is a six-minute walk, and Bolhão is closer still. D. João I Parking is directly beneath the square, a minute away and open 24 hours, though reviews report thefts from vehicles on lower levels, so park high or use the metro.
