About the venue: A bar and grill rated 4.3 from around 210 reviews, mid-priced, open from 3pm to 2am Monday and Tuesday and from midday the rest of the week — so timing is unconstrained. Reviewers describe a small room with open garage-door seating onto the street, which is the quieter spot, and note the music and sport can be loud inside.
Getting there: The venue is on Grant Avenue in North Beach, next door to The Saloon. BART does not reach North Beach, but the Powell–Mason cable car and several Muni bus lines serve the area, and it is a walkable distance from the Financial District and Chinatown. Parking in North Beach is genuinely difficult, so transit or a rideshare is strongly preferable.
