About the venue: An Irish pub rated 4.4 from more than 12,100 reviews — one of the most-reviewed venues anywhere in the network — and mid-priced. It opens at 5pm and runs to 2:30am Monday to Thursday. It is one of the few English-language pubs in São Paulo and draws a strong international crowd. Two cautions from reviews: there is a cover charge that is poorly signposted, and the room becomes very busy on sports nights, with queues to get in and to pay.
Getting there: The venue is on Alameda Itu in Jardim Paulista, seven minutes' walk from Consolação metro on the Green line and close to Avenida Paulista — the city's main business spine. That makes it reachable from across São Paulo without driving, which matters given the traffic. Street parking in the surrounding blocks is limited on weekday evenings.
