 Restless Bear Presents: Nope Rope & Wildstone Grove  Thursday 5th February  Doors 7:30 PM£3 Advance | £5 On the DoorAlexander's Live, Chester Single Launch Party for "Hard Boiled"   The Buckfast Cocktails will be flowing, Alternative Music Playing till late   NOPE ROPE  Mitch (Beat maker/Welshman) hadn't played in a band in over 10 years and had an itch that needed a scratch. He glimpsed a slither of fame in his youth with his previous bands "I Am Austin" and "Beard of Wolves" playing such delights as Channel 4's Evo Music Rooms and Radio 1's Big Weekend Bangor. Touring relentlessly up and down the UK and Europe, sharing stages and tours with the likes of Bombay Bicycle club, The Cribs, Plan B, The Noisettes and Pulled Apart by horses to name a few. After years of persistent nagging, his best friend Ethan Brokenshire (Riff wizard/Cornishman) finally convinced Mitch to start making music again. Nope Rope was born. A two piece wall of noise from Chester UK. Born in the summer of 2024. Mitch on drums/vocals and Ethan bass/vocals. A melting pot of musical influences has brought them together in an ultra symphony of dirty riff driven heavy drums and soaring vocals.
