Tokyo-born, New York-honed, Takuya Nakamura is a trumpeter, composer and producer who turns jazz, jungle and electronic music inside out.   A former student of jazz visionary George Russell, Nakamura first made his mark on 90s NYC’s underground, performing with Jojo Mayer’s Nerve and CocoRosie, and collaborating with legends like Quincy Jones and David Byrne.   For this rare UK show, Nakamura blends high-octane DJ sets, furious drum & bass breaks and soaring trumpet. A collision of jazz virtuosity and club energy.
