"From the Winter of Power to the Spring of Possibility" This production reimagines Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale in a polarised contemporary world, using two distinctly modern worlds to explore themes of power, paranoia, renewal, and forgiveness. Sicilia becomes a world inspired by the aesthetics and ideology of the Trump era-not a literal depiction of any real person, but a stylised, heightened universe shaped by its values. Bohemia becomes a freeform eco-commune, a vibrant counterculture community that lives in harmony with nature, creativity, and communal trust. By placing these worlds in opposition, the production exposes the modern roots of Shakespeare's timeless conflict: the cold, self-destructive force of unchecked power and the healing potential of human connection.
