The Unit Ama return to York for their first gig since 2024. Gringo records recording artistes, the Unit Ama make music that explodes outward: dense but soothing metronomic pulses morph into a wild fracturing of the traditional rock trio, taking the possibilities of what can be done with guitar, bass, drums and vocals into the stratosphere. Whereas others have saught to push the limits of rock music by intense complication and trickery, The Unit Ama's approach is natural, human, shamanic even. Knitting Circle appear fresh from recording their debut album in January 2026. Expect socially-conscious and urgent post-punk with melodic vocals, guitar lines, kinetic bass, and taut angular drums. This is the first gig of the year for the York-based trio. Flat Light perform live for the first time ever. Yorkshire transplants mining frequencies from German highways and indie basements. Utterly Fuzzled are York-based DIY promoters, we seek to offer a safe environment for everyone to come together and enjoy music of many varieties. All ages are welcome but under 16s should be accompanied by an adult. Fulfordgate Social Club offers a friendly and welcoming environment. The gig room has two toilet cubicles which can be used by anyone who needs them. We request that anyone who feels able to do so uses the men's toilets which are accessible by going through the bar.
